Pintler Loop

today we went on a drive to pintler loop. it is highway 1, starting in drummond and ending in anaconda. the road was getting icy in the high elevations close to anaconda so we turned back. i had also been wanting to check out phillipsburg (a town we accidentally passed on the way to georgetown lake), so were still able to see something new while backtracking. we saw 17 bald eagles, a lake that was starting to freeze, ate lunch in phillipsburg, and drove up the side of a eerie mountain to an old ghost town. it was a good day. these drives remind us how lucky we are to be here.
