no heat

we are going to be without heat until friday. i guess one of the disadvantages about living in a beautiful, historic building is that we still use boilers and radiators. on friday, our boiler is being replaced, which seems funny but also cool. who is the person that gets enough business to be the boiler repair man? we do have a fireplace, and i am hoping that it works. if not, i guess we will get the chance to actually BE the tough montanans that we also so admiringly refer to! good thing mom mailed socks!
