1 pound ground buffalo
1 green pepper
1/2 purple onion
saute ingredients together until meat is browned.
add:
2 cans red kidney beans (drained)
1 can of black beans (drained)
1 can of whole kernel corn (drained)
1 large can crushed tomatoes (i use this in the place of tomato sauce)
1 can of diced tomatoes or any fresh tomatoes you might have lying around (you can even use the soft mushy ones that you no longer want to use on sandwiches.)
spices (use whatever spices you like in chili. i use the pre-packaged chili spice packet.)
the longer you cook this, the more fabulous it tastes! keep it in the pot and re-heat it on the stove again for days to come. it only gets better!
add:
cheese and (kiley's favorite) freetos
or you can make this completely organic and eat with blue corn chips!
