you were my favorite! probably because i saw in you so many of the qualities i love in the outspoken, beautiful, southern women of my childhood. say hi to my nana! tell her i miss waching golden girls with her, dragging the mattress into the livingroom, piling on it with my cousins and sisters, while eating stove-top popcorn while she crochets!
