carter loves his dad!

this picture makes me cry! i have known josh for what seems like forever now. i knew him before the advanced accounting degree, before the granite counter tops, even before becky enriched his life so serendipitously. it's heartwarming to note that while mandy and i were skipping test prep classes with him to drive to the bluff, he was concurrently chuck's closest friend. it's funny to think about it now, how we once shared this rarity of such a friend without ever really knowing one another. our friendships with josh were (and have always been) very different. we appreciate his friendship for similar reasons of course, like his consistent moral character and loyalty. and yet we love him for so many individual reasons! and since we have so much love coming from so many angles towards josh , this picture (this baby) mean much more to us than we can ever express. welcome carter! always know that you are surrounded by our love, even if it is from 2000 miles away!
