my new thanksgiving apron

i have had this apron on my mind. seriously, i constantly daydream, "oh, i should make that." it is so fulfilling to be able to see something in a store (or worse on the ole pocket book, on the anthropologie site) that entices consumer habits, and then, ( thanks to mom walking me through the steps over the phone) be able to stitch one up fairly easily. i actually had to get out of bed this morning to make it. i could no longer keep my eyes closed, when its design was dancing around behind my eyelids. here is a picture of it, though i can't really figure out the take-a-modern-self-portrait-in-the-mirror. just look at the apron, and past my streaky mirror. i know it is super simple, but works for me. can't wait to break it in over thanksgiving, cake the sides with flour and heavenly masculine, shrubby, woodsy smells of sage and rosemary.

any one want one for christmas? let me know so i can start working on it!
