1. chuck got a new job working as a consumer attorney for the montana attorney general. even though he loved working for montana legal services (and wasn't looking for a new job), this is his dream job. it is a new position that will combine his experience in consumer law, and his llm degree (masters of laws) which is in agricultural law. he will be working directly with montana farmers. he will need work boots to wear with his ties. he starts in a 2 weeks.
2. it is already snowing here, but not as cold as you might think, if you are properly layered.
3. i have made a 100, 100, and 95.5 on my first 3 german tests, though it is starting to get tougher.
4. chuck will be in memphis at the end of the month for his new job. (i am trying to swing the trip too, though it is looking unlikely.)
5. we love you all and miss you this time of year. and we will both be home for christmas this year!!!! and will probably be eating a feast of a thanksgiving meal, alone.
6. oh yes, and rimi loves her new razorback fleece. i think my mother has actually (finally) gotten use to the idea that rimi is the closest thing she has to a grandchild at the moment. i never thought i would ever be the kind of person to write those words, "our dog has a fleece." but it is surprisingly really practical when chuck takes her hiking, now especially that the mountains are covered in snow. Congratulations! So excited for you, Chuck, and Jami, I didn't know you were taking German? That's awesome! Can't wait to see Rimi in her Razorback fleece.
